About me
Since childhood, I was shaped not only by nature and the unique atmosphere of the Šumava mountains where I grew up, but later also by the hustle and bustle of the cities I got to know during my student years. However, my love for socio-cultural anthropology, Asian cultures and philosophy had a major influence on me.
I learned to look at the world not only with my eyes, but also with my heart and the lens of my camera.
The realization that ceramics education doesn't end with a final exam, that ceramics is a constant discovery - in theory, in practice and in trying to understand complex physical and chemical processes - is for me a never-ending process and a step forward.
Being a ceramist is a mission for me, a form of expression, a path to understanding, to reflection, but most importantly, a path to myself.
